Peter Pan Child Care: Educating Children Since ‘83

Peter Pan Child Care Centres have flourished for over 30 years in South East Edmonton due to the fact that we exceed the care requirements of our Provincial Government Licensing Body. We’re dedicated to not only caring for, but also educating your child in a safe environment.

In fact, our mission statement at Peter Pan Child Care is the following:

“To provide excellent quality childcare that meets the emotional, physical, intellectual, social and creative needs of the children from infancy to twelve years of age in a safe, caring environment while enhancing development and an appreciation of each child as a unique individual.”

Meet Our Staff

Lory, Director of the Day Care

Name: Lory, Director of the Day Care

Years of Service: 23 years

Hello, my name is Lory and I am an Early Childhood Educator. I've been married for 18 years to my husband Rey and have four (4) wonderful children (boys). I have been working with children since 1989. I have my Level 3 certification from Children and Youth Services. I have always been around children. Since I was a little girl, I liked volunteering, working with children in our church, neighborhood children, cousins, and also pretended to be a teacher with a group of children. So being an Early Childhood Educator is something natural to me.

As a Director, my goal is to provide a safe and happy environment for each child that will stimulate the physical, intellectual, multicultural, social, and emotional growth at their own pace. I offer loving care that focuses on each child as a unique and wonderful individual and in doing so, building self-esteem and respect for others.

As a director I share my experience and knowledge with my parents and provide help with all aspects of the child care profession.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website.

Sam Ramji

Name: Sam Ramji

Hi! My name is Sam. I was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. I am a first generation Canadian. I am a diehard fan of the Edmonton Oilers. When I am not working, I am either hitting the gym or spending time with my family and friends.

I started here in October 2015, shortly after my birthday. I never thought I would be in the daycare field, but since coming here, I’ve had an amazing time. The staff welcomed me with open arms. The children are amazing, so too are the parents, and it’s never a dull day.

I too was once in a daycare. One memory that stands out is when we made kites. We got to use our imagination to create a colourful and unique kite to fly around.

As a male in the daycare field, I have a unique perspective. I count myself lucky to be in this industry. It’s a privilege to be around unique individuals with unique personalities. I am always learning something new, and I truly love coming to work.
